About us
Dhenin aircraft was created in 2021 by Charles Dhenin, as a platform to develop, build, test and commercialize new and exciting aircraft projects. Dhenin Aircraft's goal is to create simple, functional, low cost aircraft with a focus on efficiency and reducing ownership costs to a minimum.
As of 2022 the company is developing the CDA7 Luminair microlight aircraft. The Luminair bridges the gap between microlights and sailplanes, offering theoretically unlimited flight time in sunny weather thanks to a high performance solar array delivering 2Kw of power in average illumination conditions.
Charles Dhenin is the designer of the Southampton University Human Powered Aircraft , "Lazarus"and "Super Lazarus" , ultra-lightweight, 24m and 26m span pedal powered machines designed to take off and fly solely under human power.
